The property
The BIA complex covers an area of 16 800 m² and includes the foundry facility (4063 m²), a fettling shop (784 m²)and a warehouse (344 m²).

Greensand

BIA casting foundry has a number of greensand work centres that allow you to have a variety of weights and dimensions cast.

Hardsand

BIA casting foundry has a semi-automated hardsand loop line that allows us to manufacture flaskless moulds of maximum dimensions 1220 mm x 1000 mm x 560 mm (48" x 39" x 22"). Our 5 tonne -per-hour continuous mixer means that we can produce your closed moulds at the rate of 30 - 45 per shift.

We also provide you with a hardsand jobbing facility that can handle up to 4 000 kg of iron, and 2 000 kg steel gross cast weight. You can choose from various box sizes up to 2500 x 2500 x 1200 deep, and large castings can be moved by our 10-tonne gantry crane.
